Looking out at the fjord from Oclucje’s beach as sun goes down. We accidentally took a wrong turn on the way to Zeballos and ended up many miles down the road in an abandoned village, Fair Harbour! We finally got to Zeballos by following a truck whose friendly driver had taken pity on us, and was headed that way. It’s very easy to get lost on logging roads, even with GPS and Google, in this area. We came to depend most on hard-copy maps and word of mouth.
