HepCBC is co-hosting a FREE Webinar with the Pacific Hepatitis C Network on July 3rd at noon Pacific time. Dr. Alnoor Ramji will present the most accurate and most current information about SOVALDI (sofosbuvir), and will be available to answer your questions.

HepCBC is asking everyone’s help in approving all the new hepatitis drugs for coverage by BC PharmaCare. Between now and July 10th, you can contribute your voice to HepCBC’s Patient Group SOVALDI (sofosbuvir) submission: http://hepcbc.bchep.org/sovaldi-give-personal-input-hepcbcs-patient-group-submission/.
You can also find the forms for individual patient and caregiver submissions at http://www.health.gov.bc.ca/pharmacare/yourvoice/. Deadline for these submissions is midnight, July 11th.
MEETING INFORMATION:
Sovaldi (sofosbuvir), a new treatment for chronic hepatitis C infection, is being considered for possible coverage under the B.C. PharmaCare drug plan. PharmaCare is now asking patient groups, patients and caregivers to share ”Your Voice” on Sovaldi. To support you, HepCBC and Pacific Hepatitis C Network are co-hosting an educational webinar on Sovaldi and HCV on July 3, 2014, 12pm to 1pm (PST). B.C. HCV specialist, Dr. Alnoor Ramji, will present a Sovaldi overview and answer your questions. This webinar is free and open to all members of the HCV community so please share the webinar link and instructions to join the call. As noted above, the deadline for input into HepCBC’s Patient Group submission is July 10, 2014 (midnight). The deadline for input through PharmaCare’s “Your Voice” website is July 11, 2014 (midnight).
