WORLD HEPATITIS DAY 2015 in VICTORIA, BC CANADA – July 28, 2015

A number of local groups including AIDS Vancouver Island (AVI), Vancouver Island Persons with AIDS Society (VIPWAS), SOLID, as well as HepCBC, commemorated this day with both an afternoon of speeches, a march to Parliament Building, and educational exhibits. In the evening, the Parliament Building was lit up in red and yellow for the first time, and there was an open microphone for people to share their experiences with hepatitis C and their memories of people lost due to liver disease.
