“Miraculous,” new treatment for Hep C

Less than one percent of Albertans suffer from Hepatitis C, but despite that seemingly low number Dr. Mark Swain with the University of Calgary calls the infection, “prevalent.” That measurement comes in at some 40,000 people.

Well, as Dr. Swain tells the Alberta Morning News, a new drug that’s just been approved seeks to help end Hep C.
