WHEN: Wednesday, August 26th, 2020, from 12:00 noon to approximately 2:00 pm

HOW: ZOOM Online Meeting format. Voting Members will be invited by email. If you are not a Voting Member, you are also invited to participate. Please send HepCBC a note through http://www.hepcbc.bchep.org/contact-us/ page and we will email you an invitation. We encourage you to read the MEETING PACKAGE prior to attending the meeting.

WHO: Members of the public are welcome to attend the ZOOM meeting, but only registered Voting Members are eligible to vote.

If a Voting Member cannot attend in person, voting will be also possible via an online “Election Buddy” system during August 12-25. All Voting Members were emailed an invitation to this on August 12th.

Rules about voting and running for the Board: You must be a Member of HepCBC (FREE! but must be registered) at least 30 days before the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to vote in it or to nominate someone for the Board. You must be a Member in order to be nominated for the Board.  BECOME A MEMBER of HepCBC HERE.

The number of directors is set at HepCBC’s AGM every year, and fluctuates between 5 and 11 directors. 30% of the seats on the HepCBC Board are designated as reserved seats for individuals with living experience of viral hepatitis who have disclosed or are willing to disclose their viral hepatitis status publicly.
